Sumana Dey is an artist from Pune settled in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Working in the field of Art for more than two decades. Her father Shri Sachin Nath, was her first art teacher, He was a senior artist working for Indian Army as an Art Instructor. From his paintings, the use of longish figures and Indian mythology had influenced Sumana. Graduating from Abhinav Kala Mahavidhyala, Pune, topper in the state – gold Medallist, a figurative contemporary artist, creating her own identity.
